The Slippery Rock University Police Department received $15,000 to purchase 15 body-worn cameras through the Small, Rural and Tribal Body-worn Camera Program in 2024. The agency applied for grants to cover the $100,000 cost to outfit their officers with body-worn cameras in 2023.
